The Chemical and Materials group has a wide range of experience in numerous chemical disciplines, including analytical chemistry, inorganic chemistry, food chemistry, polymer chemistry, metallurgy, chemical products and processes, electrochemistry, coating and etching, and nanotechnology.  The group members possess degrees in chemical engineering, chemistry, and related fields.  In addition, many members have served as Patent Examiners at the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
